Mee Laksa Goreng



This is new recipe to me. my aunt masak when we went for visiting. Intsead of using yellow mee or kuetiow, she use laksa mee. I would say, taste good and not oily like mee kuning or kuetiow and dun have rasa kapur of the mee. I teringin nak makan lagi...tu yang buat lagi...macam tak puas makan pulak that day...

Recipe as follows:-

1 packet mee laksa
taugeh
kuchai
cabbage
2 tbsp chili paste
2 tbsp dried prawn - blend
3 garlic - cincang
kerang - direbus
chicken meat
prawn
dark soya sauce
oyster sauce
salt to taste
egg - goreng & asingkan

1. Tumis chili paste, add in garlic and dried prawn, goreng hingga garing.
2. Add in prawn and chicken meat, stir till cooked.
3. Add in mee laksa, dark soya sauce oyster sauce.
4. Stir for a while, add in kerang, egg yg dah digoreng hancur earlier, kuchai, taugeh and cabbage.
5. If kering, tambah air coz i suka mee basah. Adjust the taste with salt & remove from heat.

White Meehoon



love.... thank you for the recipe... everyone enjoyed it... next im goin to omit the ikanbilis & egg and try to do it vegetarian.... thanks again.. i c&p ur recipe k....

Bahan2nya:-
1/2 pek Bihun (Love guna Star Brand)
1/3 sk biji sawi
5 bawang merah - dihiris halus
4 ulas bawang putih - dicincang
7 tangkai cili kering - potong dua
setangkai daun kari
2-3 biji telur - dipukul bersama sedikit garam
segenggam / lebih ikan bilis - dibersihkan
garam secukupnya
sedikit kicap cair
sebesen air panas
sedikit air
minyak masakCara-cara memasaknya :-
Rendam bihun dlm air panas selama 2-3 minit. Angkat dan toskan airnya.
Panaskan minyak dlm kuali, gorengkan ikan bilis. Angkat dan ketepikan.
Dlm minyak yang sama, gorengkan telur. Kacau dan hancurkan. Dah goreng, angkat dan ketepikan.
Panaskan sedikit minyak lagi. Tumis biji sawi, bawang putih, bawang merah, cili kering dan daun kari hingga naik bau. Tambah sedikit air, garam dan kicap cair. Kacau.
Masukkan bihun dan gaul sebati perlahan2. (boleh gunakan dua garfu/ chopsticks). Tutupkan kuali dgn penutup selama 3 minit.
Akhir sekali, masukkan telur dan ikan bilis yang telah digoreng tadi. Kacau rata. Sedia dihidangkan. ;)

Claypot Yee Mee

Ingredients:-
3 Yee Mee
4 garlic (chopped)
200gm prawn
200gm chicken sliced thinly
1 packet of fish ball (cut in half)
2 pcs of fish cake (sliced thinly)
1 1/2 cube of chicken stock
2 eggs
1 liter water (add more if require more gravy)
vegetables (green mustard, carrot & chinese long cabbage)
2 tbsp cornflour mix with water

Method:-
1. Heat oil. Saute garlic. Add in chicken and prawn. Let it cooked for a while.
2. Add in water and chicken stock cube. Let it boil.
3. Add in eggs and stir. Add in cornflour + water.
4. Add in the fish ball, fish cake and vegetables.
5. Once boiled, add in the yee mee. Stir for a while and remove from heat.
